OK...maybe this is a really dumb question. I will assume that I should just dilute the acv with water and rinse then condition. I found some instruction:
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is the most popular vinegar for homemade clarifying rinses. Dilute a small amount of ACV (usually between 2 tablespoons and 1/4 cup) in 2 cups of water. Pour this mixture through your hair after shampooing, then condition your hair as usual. While ACV will not remove all product residue, it will remove a large amount. It will also remove a large amount of mineral deposits that can make hair stiff.
But it is for regular hair not lfs.

Hey Griff, I do vinegar rinses on my natural hair all the time. they work great, but I use them as acidifiers, NOT clarifiers. what I do is put a small amount of vinegar in a big slush cup (plastic) and after I have let my deep conditioner sit on my hair for awhile, I rinse it with water, and then do a final rinse with vinegar. I just pour the whole cup over my head. the hair instantly turns to silk and gets shiny! You can choose to rinse the vinegar with water or just let it sit and towel dry. The smell does go away very quickly. I don't think it should matter if you use it for wigs or your natural hair --- their both human, right?

Thanks for the response. Can I use regular distilled vinegar or does it have to be acv? What do you think of motions moisture plus conditioner for an lf? It has silicon in it.

I was wondering the same thing. One day I was washing my wigs and ran out of ACV. I almost tried the regular vinegar but changed my mind.

Hey ladies! Oh yeah, there is absolutely no problem with using regular distilled vinegar. In fact, I have NEVER used Apple cidar Vinegar, since I am light blonde and it's known to leave a reddish tinge to the hair (or that is what I've heard!).
Griff: the Motions Moisture Plus should be just fine. Just make sure you rinse it real good and THEN do your final rinse with the vinegar. I think you'll like the effect!
