I seen "static brushes" at a variety of online store. However, I'm not sure if they work. Has anyone tried one?

I have wear Indian Remy and I have the problem, too. But I keep a small spray bottle of Silicon Mix and water in my purse and spray a little in the palms of my hands and smooth my hair down when it gets unruly. It works for several hours.

However, like you, I'd like to completely address the situation and alleviate it. When I saw those static brushes, they didn't seem convincing. (Doesn't brushing cause static).

Well tht's a relief! I thought I was the only one, the spray in your purse is it SM leave in conditioner that you mix with the water???
I too want to alleviate it as well, you are very right, brushing makes the static worse. That's why I trying to figure out what our vets do to stop the static issue!!!

Ahhhhhhhh, there's an idea! Of course, they'd have to be unsented, but that may work. So, you just run it on the hair, right. (I bet they'll store easily in my purse, too).

Thanks, I'll try it. Thumbs%20Up

apparently ya have not truly embraced your inner white girl yet ...LOLLOLLOL it happens during winter months with non-black hair.. hair spray helps to take out the static, i'd also do a AVC and conditioner with the silicon spray and then once it dries the hair spray..

apple cider vingar rinse i'd use like 1/2 cup of vingar and then mix with water.. its a clarifying thingy, but it cleans it really well... i usually do it with my natural hair and i don't add any water in my natural hair just straight vingar.. but its really the hair spray that works, it also works on your clothes when you get static cling at work, spray some hair spray and it unclings..
