Kelly Ripa

But was back to long and straight today on Regis and Kelly.

Looks like Kelly got a few inches cut off, it's bouncing off the shoulders now and flipped out a bit at the ends. No picture to offer, but I'd check the "Live Gallery" page of ourdailyripa.com tomorrow.

I must admit, even though a change from below the shoulders to on or above them is usually pretty noticeable on someone, I barely caught this one. In my opinion, that's because it was pretty bland before, and now it's pretty bland and a few inches shorter. And it doesn't look like they did any additional layering or styling to the rest, just hacked off the bottom. So to me, the effect it still that it just kinda hangs there bluntly.

Kelly's bragged at times about her willingness to make major "chops" and hair changes, but I generally think her hair has stayed frustratingly and consistently ordinary over the years. She was putting waves in it for a long time, which helped, and does curl it on rare occasions, and even tried bangs for a while a couple of years ago, but none of these changes seem to stick, and she eventually returns to long, straight, un-layered, and (IMHO) bland. Not bad, but not particularly good.

Which makes me wonder why I spend so much time checking on her hair. I need another hobby...

I think it all looks good but, would love to see her in a short bob like the virtual pic
