Hi!
I have two questions! First, I''ve had bangs all of my life - heavy, cut straight across, eyebrow level and curled up in a round brush. BORING. Plus, by the end of the night they end up stringy... and I have a "cowlick" on the right side of my head in my bangs, so the "all together look" ends up seperated by the cowlick. Pretty gross.
What I''m looking for is piecey and sorta side swept (going with my cowlick), with a few fringes covering the rest of my forehead.
My hair is dark blonde, long (right below my shoulder blades), and layered to frame my face in the front. It''s fine, and limp... doesn''t tend to hold styles very well. (But oddly enough, I have lots of it.) I normally blow dry with a brush, and then follow up with a big curling iron. I have an ovalish-oblong shaped face, a high forehead...
I''m also wondering how to get a textured, loose wave like Britney Spears seems to wear alot... minus the extentions! ;) Also, what products should I use so that it''ll stay shiny and fresh looking, and stay put?
HI! I know exactly what you are talking about. Although I have my hair permed curly, but I too have had bangs all my adult life. I am going on 37 years old and DO NOT want short hair. I need help too. My 21 yr old sister told me I was stuck in the 80's. I would love a new hair do but I don't know what to do. I have used a product by Paul Mitchell, probably an out dated one too, but its called "Seal and Shine" and it looks wonderful when I use it. good luck!

Ive got big bangs too, here is a pic, ive got a simliar problem, my hair is real long and light brown but ive got a high forhead which i am very self conisous over, I blow dry them with a dryer and a round brsh and use enough harispray so that not even wind nor rain can mess my hair. I want to try a new style too, But im not sure what to do with my hair either.
Why don't you show those pictures to your hair stylist and tell him/her the same thing.
I think Britney uses hot rollers to get her hair that way. Also, pomade will help you get a piecy look but don't use too much because it will make it look greasy.
