Has anyone had any expierence with this product. I'm having my highlights touched up on Tuesday April 21. I'm going to a new hairdresser. I was told they use Matrix Colorgraghics. My natural hair is medium ash brown. It is very thin and fine. I'm really nervous about going to a new hairdresser, but I have had some bad expierences lately with my last hairdresser. I can't find any reviews online about the product.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I feel a little better now about my appointment tomorrow. I wish I could go to a hairdresser and enjoy it instead of being very nervous and upset.

Matrix do a great range of styling products, and if the salon your going to are using Matrix colours they should have a range of there styling products. As I live in the UK, styling products might be unavailable over your end of the world, lol. I will give you a few great names of products. Paul Mitchel, TG, I think Matrix styling products is call Kerastat. All of these products are a little more expensive than the usual drug store brands, but are well worth it and last for months. We spend lots of money on our hair so why not spend that little extra in maintaining our hair.
I would make a great sales rep, he he.
I hope this helps a little, I understand you are a bit anxious about going to the hairdressers, but its up to your stylist to reassure you and put you at ease.
It's not so much the product brand as the skill of your colorist. Find out how long he/she's been doing highlights. What kind of technique do they use -- foils, balayage, both? If anyone wants to put a cap on you, run for the hills. Seriously, you're entitled to a free consultation before the appointment (I know this is a little late now, but for next time). The colorist can tell you their strategy and you have the option of accepting it or not.

I got a phone call this morning at 9:05 saying my highlight appointment was canceled because the stylist called in sick. I was so mad that I said I did not want to reschedule. So I called a few shops and I made a consultation with a shop that specializes in color.
I met with Heather, and I feel good about this stylist.
They use Redken for color and they sell Pureology hair products. She gave me a sample of shampoo, conditioner and volumizer. I can't wait to try them, These products have a good rating on different web sites, but they are expensive.
Thanks for the above replies.

I definitely have to say that out of all the bleaches that i have used MATRIX is by far my favorite. It does make a huge difference of the style the person has i mean anyone can screw up any brand name or they can make it do wonders. I only use matrix color sync and v light then i use only purology products but trust me it is expensive stuff. you get what you pay for. lol. redken is a very good product line as well but the main reason you dont see a ton of reviews for matrix is because they are a fairly new line as redken has been out for a very long time. good luck.
