I didn't see this mentioned, but in last Sunday's Parade Magazine (available in US Sunday Newspapers) Amy Adams is on the cover and she has cut what seems to be six to eight inches off her hair.  Still looks great on her.  For your viewing pleasure...

     Amy was on one of the late night talk shows maybe two months ago, and her hair was longer and more impressive. It's not bad, by any means, but the one photo in which it is not set it looks pretty bland. Sleepy Bob

Unlike many of the long to short (or in this case, medium length) cuts, I rather like it, at least in the styled versions.  It is very full with lots of style.  Most of the pix of her with longer hair show curls just kind of hanging there, and the length really seemed to drag down the style.  Lots of pix on Getty.

She at least kept some length, too.  It looks as though it is a very versatile length and style.

For me it's good and kind of similar to some styles of Rachel Evan Wood.
