So has anyone worn Raccon International's hair extensions before? If so what did you think?

I became qualified in racoon in december but still haven't bothered advertising it because I'm not too sure if I like doing it.

I am so used to pre bonded hair, getting to grips with using the glue gun seemed so time consuming!
Their glue guns don't really seem to drip the glue as quickly as I need it to so there is alot of waiting for it to come through, then when I do finally put a bond in with the silicone strip (which seems so finicky "pinch, pinch, roll") there is alot of glue waste by the end of it!
Anyone got any tips for me?

Anyway, it must have taken me about 7 hours to do my sisters hair who was my training model, where as normally with pre bonded it might take me about 3.5 - 4 hours to do a full head.

Another thing, the glue that is used is very soft, you're meant to only use racoon products on the bonds which is fair enough but my sister has still lost quite a few bonds. Is it just me and the way I'm doing it?

Anyway, overall I don't think any hair extensions is worth £700 - £1000 to begin with let alone all the products you have to buy to go with them, my pre bonded hair extensions that I import have rock hard bonds and my clients hardly lose any and they use any products they want on them!

Let me know what you think??

By the way, I will post pics soon of the only 2 Racoon installs I have done so far! xx

This is the first I've heard of Raccoon Brand/System, but, we all know that clients are going to go home and use a multitude of different brands on their hair so it seems to set you up for trouble at the get go if the requirement for them lasting depends upon exclusive use of their products. PLUS, if it takes you twice the time to install, you're giving up the entire profit of one install so essentially, you'd have to be making twice as much... Just sayin' :-)

I'd love to see pics and find out more though. How's the hair quality?
rockin' hair one head at a time!

I am not a lover of Racoon Brand/System, I have found that many of the technicans who perform this method make the bonds extremely large.

I have worn Racoon system quite a few times and dont like it as the bonds shed like crazy.

I dont even give the hair a good rating as its not very good.  I find it matts and tangles very easy.

Are you a trained hairdresser?
