Hey Ladies, I'm a white male with very lightly tanned skin. Ive got a dark brown fauxhawk and i'm thinking about getting some highlights and I was curious what you think would look good. What about really dark red lowlights and white blonde highlights? maybe something different? What do you think would look good ?

thanks in advance !

P.s I'm sorry I dont have any pictures available at the moment online

Highlights would look great as long as your goal is to stay within 1-2 shades lighter than yout current hair color.  You could also do a combo of highlights but try to stay 1-2 levels lighter, at least initially.  You might start with just a small section of hair around your hairline, see how you like it and then if you do, you can do the rest of your head.  If you like the 1-2 shades lighter then you can you progress even lighter until you reach the shade you like.

Dark red lowlights would look striking against your brunette hair.  Just be careful not to do too much to fast so you can transition gracefully and avoid having too many highlights and lowlights all at once.

Please post pictures after you make your changes.  Would love to see how it all turns out.
