QuoteReplyTopic: Microlinks and Blending Posted: December 01 2010 at 1:34pm
I have blonde hair and use the 100% human hair microlinks. This is actually my first time using them and I've noticed they don't blend that great and can be very visible at times. Does anyone have any suggestions to achieve a better blending technique? The rings are a blondish color, but too light so it shows through under my own hair. Any suggestions would be so appreciated!!! Thanks everyone

You could try a darker color of ring, or work on your placement. They are probably placed too high. You might have to try and find another technique for the top row if your own hair is very thin.
Tape, or LG have worked great for me. Individual bonds with manemaxx are supposed to be very discrete as well.
It is best to always use the same shade or a shade darker or you do risk the rings showing. Try Backcoming your top sections for some additional camouflage.

One thing i have done of people to help this problem is between each row you leave a thin line of hair across then start another row of beads. this way when they flip there hair or put half up ext. its harder to see the beads. Like frenchie said sometimes its just placement. Also i have some girls who wont do tape or glue they will only do beads so i do a weft piece for the very top but just bead it in instead of sew or glue they like it that way to. hope it helps a little. Agreed with doctoredlocks as well on the color of beads.
