I liked the bowl type cut on her best, hands down. Her hairstyles lately have been disasterous.

Shes wearing fake hair(bangs) in that clip....
Even with short hair, even those styles with the shaved sides, she augments with pieces and just shorter extensions.

RiRi changes it up again at the NBC Today Summer concert kickoff.  Do you like the two Victory Rolls retro hair style?  This is obviously a wig but still pretty striking in color.  Would you call this color tomato red?

i love the Victory rolls although they are a lot softer than traditional rolls.  The color almost looks like V8 with a lot of orange in it.  It def is a wig.  Her hairdresser recently talked about her big red curly hairstyle on American Idol and said she too a blonde curly wig and dyed it red.

i love rihanna shes amazing!!! i think her outfits are a bit out there and same with the hair but its wot makes her different and she can pull it off cos shes hot!! but the 3rd hairstyle i think is better

She appears to have retired the red wigs. I like this new color, and it looks like it might be extensions as opposed to a wig.

I am in no way saying that even 80% of that is hers.  She , imo, was obviouslly growing those sides out under all those wigs. Otherwise why wear wigs exclusively for months? That being said you'd only need a few inches all around to make the braids that the hair is sewn into. If they are extensions, the would most likely be wefts sewn in, not single strands. Blending would be an issue.

And from the weekend, the same hair, lightened up, at a festival. Sewn in for sure. You can see the grown in sides.
