I'm not sure how many of you watch the American soap opera "All My Children," but the show had a character with one of the sexiest hairstyles in daytime TV: Chrishell Stause, who plays Amanda Martin. Here's how "Amanda" looked on the show:
 
 
Until today. Chrishell had her hair cut to just below the shoulders, lost the wave and went with a bob, I guess. The haircut wasn't built into the story line. In fact, it wasn't acknowledged by any of the characters in today's show, as far as I know. In my book, she went from one of the sexiest heads of hair to just another character in a soap opera.
 
That being said, most of you will no doubt enjoy this YouTube video, which shows her before style, the haircut and how she looked when it was over. She's a gorgeous woman who says she just wanted a change -- and change is what she got. I admit she looks sexy in some of the shots in the video, but looked extremely plain in today's show. I guess the stylist didn't accompany her to the set. I've lost that loving feeling.

"All My Children" is one of two soap operas going from the ABC network to the Internet in the next month or so. I'm uncertain whether the "Amanda" character will be part of the show. In the storyline, the formerly sweet married character just came down with an STD after sleeping with a man who was not her husband.

Forget Chrishell, who is the sexy hairstylist with the awesome hairstyle?  I couldn't take my eyes off of her!

According to the video description, stylist was Gretta Monahan.
My feelings are mixed. Her long hair was spectacular, but I'm a sucker for a long bob.

Looks good with long hair but I think the bob looks great on her... far from "just another" anything except maybe "just another" beautiful woman. Ditto on Gretta's hair - caught my attention right off as well.

She's a great looking woman and wears both styles well. I too really liked the stylist's hair.  Awesome video, thanks for that.  I did find a picture of her from the other day; looks better IMHO; lots of body

I knew most of you would enjoy the change. I watched the show again today and she just looked drab -- nothing like the photo Hawg posted. Of course, she was crying and sulking in all of the scenes I saw.
