I am really surprised no one has said anything this morning about Erica Van Pelt on American Idol. Tommy Hilfiger suggested she cut her hair so she went from this:

I thought it was awesome also.  It might be a little dark, I wonder what an dark auburn would of looked like.  Color aside - the cut is great for her.

Better overall. Ages her a bit but in a good way, gives her a bit more gravitas, good for a singer (especially one attempting Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind").

She was on our local TV news this morning. Sorry short hair lovers. She may look decent in the posted photo, but on live TV, she looked butchy. No way her new hairstyle is an improvement. No way.
