She doesn't look bad, but this seems like a bit of a 'eh' cut. She's gorgeous, and her hair is beautiful, but... okay, it's shorter. I don't think it's the sort of cut that gets people talking.

I have been watching Lucy since Episode 1 of Pretty Little Liars. (they are on Episode 2 of Season 3). Her hair at times was so long and thick that it was inching down to her waist. I thought it was really lovely and could be classified as very long.
She has a larger face and prominent chin which looks great with a center part and lots of thick, long hair with volume. Also, her hair was dark brown with lighter highlights. Stunning.
When I saw her on the first episode of Season 3 her hair was barely shoulder length, it was much lighter with a hint of red and there was no body to speak of. She wore a side part which was not flattering.
It is my opinion, after years of looking at face shapes and hair color, length and style that it accentuated her face making it look even larger. I think the color washed out her skin and eye tone. I also think it made her face look rounder and her chin more prominent.
I used to think she was the prettiest of the girls and now I think she is the least pretty. I was very disappointed with her hair change as were many of my friends.
I for one thought it was a bad decision on the part of whoever decided that she needed to go so much shorter.
And....we all know that when celebrities go from mid-back or longer to shoulder length or below it may be an indication or a shorter haircut just around the corner.
Yes....Big Chop...I stand fiercely by my title.

Looks like a "big chop" to ME as well, Karen. Actresses should realize that there is a good bit of fantasy involved in their popularity. The last thing that an entertainer should desire is to downsize an exquisite asset into something normal. I think it was a big mistake. That young lady McCurdy from iCarly has halved her hair length recently as well. Long hair has mystique, even if individual women may not understand it.
