There are many links that discuss movies with haircutting / head shaving scenes, but what are your favorite movies where celebrities simply wear their hair short?

1. Cameron Diaz in There's Something About Mary

2. Charlize Theron in Aeon Flux

3. Selma Blair in Hellboy 2

Hmmmm...Cameron Diaz's hair is not really short short in TSAM.

I guess Astronaut's Wife, Girl Interrupted and Rosemary's Baby.

I like ssjockey's picks but I'm gonna go with:

Charlize Theron in the Astronaut's Wife

Carey Lowell in Licence to Kill

and Sharon Stone in Sphere

Thanks for suggesting this mystical81; something to break the boredom until Springtime in the salons

It would be Amanda Seyfried - In Time, Rachel Mc Adams - The Vow, Lily Collins - Mirror Mirror, Ashely Greene - Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

Was any short style in a movie ever more effective than Mia Farrow's in Rosemary's Baby?

I'd have to agree with Charlize Theron in the Astronaut's Wife.

I always liked Carey Lowell in License to Kill, much of which was the transformation in the movie but that last pic of Carlize is very hot.

I agree, Charlize is beautiful. I like all of those ladies in their short hair or shaved head styles.
As far as those three movies go, I didn't care for V for Vendetta, I sort of liked Star Trek and the Astronauts Wife. Although none of those movies were great movies.
The women and their fashion and hairstyles made those movies more interesting.
Fashion does make some movies more intriguing, but I usually don't watch movies for the fashion styles, unless I believe the movie also has quality. There are other ways to observe fashion.

I love all the above, especially Charlize, Mia and Jean Seberg.

Some beautiful others (I'd love to be one of these lucky partners):

Nastassja Kinski - One From The Heart

Natalia Oreiro - Cleopatra

Emanuelle Beart - Voleur de Vie

Julie Christie - Fahrenheit 451

Jennifer Jason Leigh - Miami Blues

Natalie Portman - Hotel Chevalier

And the Godess: Halle Berry - The Flintstones

Love, I was just about to mention SWF!  Double the fun!

Charlize in Astronaut's Wife is the gold standard.  It doesn't get any better!

Another of my faves: Mary Stuart Masterson in Some Kind of Wonderful.

Not as extreme as other actresses, but Sandra Bullock wore a cute mid-length bob in Demolition Man
