Adams is known for her long locks. But we always want what we don't have, don't we?

Yike! I've become pretty attached to her long hair, too. This seems par for the course, though. Let's enjoy it while we still can.

Looks to be somewhere from 8-12 inches shorter.  Cute - because, c'mon, how do you may Amy Adams NOT cute? - but I preferred it long.  The woman does have some thick hair, though...

So JF, will Amy follow through with your theory of this being only a transitional cut to something shorter? She definitely has the face to pull of just about any hairstyle!

Wouldn't think it was twelve inches shorter. More like 4-6 inches. Anyway, I liked it before and I like it now.

Hoping styled it looks more interesting than this.

She had it shorter for Mrs. Pettigrew Lives for a Day as well -- a really cute shoulder-length style with lots of body and pin curls. Which, not surprisingly, is among my all-time favorites for her.

She's still wearing a long look. We'll morn her past lusciousness, but I suspect she'll adhere to the common Hollywood ritual of tying in a few extensions now and then for serious length. We'll always remember the the glory days, though.

She's been keeping her hair around collar bone length since May. How long until her hair clears her shoulders? I'm guessing spring of 2014...
