In my experience the best style for fine hair is long. Not too long but just a bit longer then shoulder length. It must be let loose and comfortably so. Layers in the front are great to keep the hair out of the way. A lot of times people with fine hair have very limp or straight hair and to add body just use a curling iron to add a flick or curl at the bottom.
A nice and natural way to add body to fine or limp hair is to make a hair mask out of egg yolk. Beat it well and eave it in only at the roots for about 20 minutes and let the nutrients soak into the hair. It also coats each strand with a very fine film adding extra body and shine.
