hairdresser wanted

i`m a male and i got long, curly hair. i want to cut them, but i would like to get a perm, first, or some hairstyling...
i never get a perm, but sometimes i went to have my hair setted by an hairdresser that now is no more here... i, obviously don`t care if you are`nt professional;
I just prefere a barberette... i can even do it all in a salon...but i`m just a bit ashamed...i live in north italy and i can travel
