Recently, I had a customer to come to my home who wanted to have her hair braided. She had a "bald" spot in the crow area of her head that she said was burning. My suggestion to her was to wait until the burning had subsided. She refuse! And got her her braided anyway. Prior to me braiding Ms. X's hair here is what I did: First, I shampoo her hair with a "Coconut oil base castile liquid soap shampoo mixed with olive oil, and 2 beaten egg yolks added to the shampoo.Second, after shampooing, I rinse her hair with an extract made of: Rosemary, Sage, Nettle, Coltsfoot, & Horsetail. (This herbal) mixture assured me that her scalp would be healed after shampooing and cleaning the hair & scalp. It also rinses out any trace of soap from her hair.Next, I then re-rinsed the hair with a "apple cider vinegar & Lemon" juice rinse to seal in the "Herbs. Then I added a mixture of Mayonnaise & eggs with 2 tablespoons of honey added to the mayo & egg mixture, covered her head for 30 minutes with a plastic cap. When the time was up, I rinse out the conditioner, with a warn to cook rinse, and let her hair dry naturally. Then I proceeded to braid her newly condition hair.3 Months later she return & stated " My new growth is so thick, I think I need to have my hair re-braided. And she did! Her hair had grown more than 3 & 1/2 inches in just 3 months. Shampooing with herbs will strengthen the hair, detangle the hair, & condition the hair as well.Hot Oils, are also good treatments for damage hair too. When ones hair is damaged it needs lots of moisture, & proteins. You can give your hair protein by using "eggs & spring water. If this information helps anyone out there please let me know, I'm always intrested in helping people with hair problems.Csweet15@pacbell.netRelated Link:Blackhaircare.com
