hair products needed to get this style?

frankly I think pretty much anything would work. It's a pretty simple style. Assuming you get your hair cut to a similar length just put any old gel or pomade you have lying around in your hair and spike it up. For a bit of a softer look (ie. not the rock hard spike look) you can use products designed for the "out-of-bed" messy look. They'll help hold your hair up like that but give it a softer look. I think the trick to this hair style is making sure your hair on the sides and back is real short, and then on top leaving it with a bit of length to work with (like...2 inches or so). Then, like I said, any product which will hold your hair in place will give that look if you brush your hair back a bit, maybe mess it up a little for a slight messy, spiked look.
