I have a spray that includes mica, but really mica does nothing for hair and is thrown in for a marketing appeal. What *will* make your hair shiny are the silicone derivatives (dimethicone, trimethicone, cyclomethicone, etc.)

This is the best shine spray I have ever tried. Other brands leave my hair duller than before after a few hours. This lasts practically all day. It does not weigh my hair down. It comes in a cobolt blue bottle and costs about sixteen dollars. You use it after you are done styling your hair, after hairspray.Really worth the extra money.
