You bet I complimented her. She was a bit reluctant to talk about it, but she said she´d been saving since 1990, when she had it to her shoulders. She cuts it about 3 inches a year. I´d say she was closer to 50 than 40.

I never realized water quality makes such a huge difference. I´ve tried rinses, but never really saw the point of them. Now I know why. Actually, a branch of the swedish government dealing with environmental and consumer issues, is now doing a study of the effect on national economy concerning swedes buying an increasing amount of bottled water, which is an exploding market - a fad, really. Experts say that some of the imported bottle water is of poorer quality than what´s in the tap in the City of Stockholm! I was baffled when I heard it.

The more you complain, the longer God lets you live.

Hi Viktoria!

Cool hair sighting. It's always nice to see really long and beautiful hair on other people. Did you give her a well-deserved compliment for brightening your day with the beauty of her hair?

Thanks for the compliment on my current sig pic.

It is great to see new participants here. (I've been extremely distracted in real life, lately. ugh). Hope they stick around and talk some more about long hair!

The poor water quality in Paris may explain the lack of long hair? The water where I live isn't good, but I always finish with a distilled water with vinegar rinse. It makes a huge difference.

I went to buy a pot of flowers for my balcony today and was tended by a lady with hair as long as Daves (and, by the looks of it, the same color and texture)! It is an amazing sight to see, I don´t think I´ve seen that long hair for real before! She wore it in a loose braid that ended about 8 inches away from the floor.

Another pleasing sighting is all the new faces on the board! And Daves new pic!

Not a single really long hair sighting in Paris though! The water in Paris was awful, it smelled like chlorine and after schampoo, conditioner and rinsing for ever, my hair felt as though I had styled it with marmelade! I feel for all you big city people!

The more you complain, the longer God lets you live.
