It's fine to do short with a cowlick, just so long as you're careful not to go so short you can't get the cowlick to lie down. If it's a couple of inches long, you should be able to get it to stay down with gel or something, and if it's maybe three or four, it should start to go down on its own.

I got bad haircut and i think i have cowlick now in my crown should i cut it short and does hair grown in front even if you have a cowlick
