QuoteReplyTopic: girls opinion on crewcut - urgent Posted: March 09 2000 at 1:18am
While I'm not a girl, I look at it this way. You like her, and she likes the crewcut style. The fact that she wants to join you at the barbershop is a large hint of how much she likes the style. Make her happy, and I don't think you'll have any further reason to question your choice of styles.
I'd suggest only going for a #4 on top the first time out. This will leave a half-inch of hair, and given your hair texture, it should work rather well for you.
hi umm i really dont think that you should go for the crew cut it looks real dorky and u will probabley get teased my advice is to get just a normal cut or even short enough to spike but please do not get a crew cut i dont like crew cuts and niether do any other girls.
Thanks for the response. But I certainly missed one point in my last thread. I usually get headache if my hair grows long and usually go for moderate short cut. My girl friend knows this and that's the reason I thought she suggested me to go for still shorter crewcut. Even I think that will be worthwhile try (what's the opinion??). Only thing I am worried/concerned is what others might think especially girls if someone happen to see such a short cut - buzzed back and sides.
Another thing is that I have never had a crewcut or such as short cut in my life. If I were to go for it for the first time what to expect in the barbershop?? I also have a basic question about clippers. Does a 1/4" inch attachment means that it will take that much hair out or only that much hair will remain?? If any of you have had previous experience, pls help and advise.
Don't think that you "have" to have your hair a certain way. Instead, think of how a crewcut would look on your face shape and if you'd like it. If a style suits you well, girls will like it no matter if it's "in" or not. A short cut will make your hair easier to manage, but it doesn't have to be a crew. If you want something trendier, I'd suggest just cutting it moderately short and then spiking it with gel (which will also control the wave). Girls like this style too. The bottom line is, do what you think is right for you.
I have a problem with my hair. If it grows longer, it becomes wavy and am not able to comb it or maintain it properly. My girl friend suggested me to go for a short crewcut. I am a little hesistant about it. Is that the only solution?? Basically do girls love crewcut?? I thought my girl friend was a bit crazy. I will be going to barbershop this weekend. Pls. suggest me. It's urgent.
My girl friend said she can come with me to barbershop if I want.
