Hey!

Always happy to help! =) I'll be sure to try that modified protein treatment! One question: did the egg take a lot of washing to get out? I'm kinda concerned about the fresh egg scent... I don't suppose you shampooed it out, did you? And here's a suggestion about the hot oil: maybe, try washing it out with a clarifying shampoo. Hope that helps.
AND, thank you for that advise about cutting my hair ("hair style advise, please") I got it cut last week, and I love it! =)

Take care,
Catriona

thanks!!
i used the hot oil treatment first, but that made some of my hair go a bit greasy (that was probably MY fault)
then i tried the egg and lemon juice one, only i took the instructions and added and took away things from it;
One egg, beaten together with about three teaspoons of fridge-cold lemon juice. Add half a kiwi's worth of juice and a tsp of milk. Leave for 15 mins then rinse with warm/cold water (cold water works the best).
thanks for that, i'll tell my friends about them and i'm sure they'll go down well at sleepovers!! :o)

Hello!
(these are from my mom's "haley's hints" book!):

conditioner: 2 beaten egg yolks and add a teaspoon of gin or vodka. leave it on for 5 min. then rinse

For a protein treatment: blend 1 tbsp lemon juice and 3 whole whipped eggs in the blender. leave it on for 15 min then rinse

Hot oil treatment: wet hair and towel dry. Apply warm oil (baby oil or olive) to roots and scalp, cover w/ warm towel fresh from the dryer. wait 15 min. before shampooing. You can use mayonnaise in place of oil

Let me know if the conditioner or protein treatment work! =) I know from experience that the olive oil works! I highly recommend it. Hope these help!
Best wishes,
Catriona

does anyone have any tips on how to make your own shampoo/conditioner?! my friend cathy said she made her own shampoo with eggs or something and she said it really worked. so if anyone has tried making their own shampoo/conditioner and it has been successful, then tell me!!!
