Hi. I need some help. I won a pagent of sorts and have to wear a tiara at several events, one in particular is Fri.-Sun. for two weekends in a row. I would really like a nice updo that would keep my hair looking good but that is easy enough for me to do. The people at the pagent would like to see me either in a heidi braid or a pretty bun. I can do a french twist, but they want some thing that is not as severe. My delima is that I have fine hair and unless I tease it ( which I can't do for three days straight without ending up with one huge tangle!) I don't think if will stay looking good. Please, I need advice!!!!! Thanks in advance.

Hi Jenni

I thank you for your message to me and I will try those braids. You asked me if I could tell you about any other types of braids, well I know of alot. you could try a french braid on each side of your head it gets all the hair out of your way and it's pretty easy. You could also try braiding little sections of your hair, two on each side that you can pull back and clip with a little clip and it's a neater way to have your hair half up half down. well thank you again for the braid suggestions and I hope you can get some use out of my braid ideas.

Have you tried fishtail braids, with four pieces of hair, orfrench braids when you gather in hair? Can you tell me any types other than that?
