To be honest, I think girls - indeed women of up to almost any age - look ravishing with a buzz-cut, provided it is complemented with stylish and/or offbeat clothing. It sends out a message "I'm feminine, confident and just a bit different" My head never fails to turn. A true story from last week: in my home town of Preston in the UK I saw a person with really shorn hair who on closer inspection turned out to be female. She looked absolutely distraught. The scenario was obvious; just had all her hair off and felt really unsure about it. I wanted to shout to her "Hey, your hair looks great!" but I didn't, fearing a reply on the lines of "Get lost, creep" which is a shame. Still, carry on buzzing, I say.
To be completely honest with you...it depends on the girl. A lot of girls aren't really suited for that type of style. But some girls...let's just say I've had my head turned more than once ;) If it's done right, really short hair on girls is compelling to me. But do you like long, straight hair on guys?? =p Cause that's what I've got =)
Hi! Last October, I had my shoulder-length hair cut into a very closely buzzed crewcut. I totally love it. Instead of hair, I now have fur! I'm 19, straight, normal (not punk or goth--not that there is anything wrong with that) and feminine. Guys (and girls) come up to me out of the blue and compliment me about my haircut and they always want to touch my hair. Any girls with similar experiences? Guys, how do you feel about girls with buzzcuts? I love mine and want to keep it but I'd like some input. Please? Rachel
