QuoteReplyTopic: HELP!!!!!What would look good in my hair? Posted: August 22 2000 at 2:51pm
I usually put in in a ponytail, but w/ my face shape i leave out the 2 halfways down the face "wings". They are thin, not like bangs or anything, they look good and REALLY cut down on friz...a GREAT hairstyles is to twista section of your hair( at the top) on the top of your head and attach with butterfly clip(s)...you have to do 5 or 6 or them...you see people with it everyday... but the take it(all of your hair)hold it like you would for a ponytailtwist it up and hold with a claw(big) so the ends stick up...hairsrpay the end so they stay up..if this is confusuing , re write me...its sounds like a 'do for slightly outgoing people...but I can be shy and I wear it to church so it looks good for all occasions...sorry about spelling and stuff...I type fast and dont really take time to fix it. Tell me what you think.
hello! It sounds to me like we are in the same boat. your hair sounds quite similar to mine and I always wear it in the same hairstyles. I have noticed though that when I cut my hair every few weeks(not much just a trim) it is much easier to manage. My hair comes to right below my bust line when I blowdry it out completly straight so it is a little longer then yours. An easy style I tend to use alot is just a messy bun or a high pony tail because it seems to shape my face better. You could also try a part that is not quite in the middle to give you a different looking hair style. Also, a zig-zag part would also shape your face well. I have a little bit of a natural wave as well so sometimes I dont blowdry or brush my hair when I get out of the shower and it starts to curl. When that happens I put a little gel through my hair and it gives it a nice wave/curl look to it. Hopefully, I helped you and if you want, you can respond back to me with some of the things you do with your hair. I'm always looking for new styles!!
I have an heartshaped/ovalshaped face with shoulder lenth medium brown hair that is supposed to frame my face. The layers in front are growing out. My hair is basically straight with a little bit of natural wave that tends to go the opposite way I want it to. It's medium thick and darker underneath b/c I highlighted/lightened the top w/ sun-in.What style (cut) should I do? I don't want it too short! Please help me! School is starting soon!!!!!
