Braids and weaves and stuff

Hi,

I'm getting ready for homecoming and I want to get my hair braided or something. I've been seeing this one style all summer but I don't know what it's called. It's where the hair is half up and pulled into small sections maybe 8 of them and then those sections are pulled into other sections making diamond shapes.
Like below only there would be 8 instead of 2. Do you know what this is called? It would be greatly appretiated if you could help me.
