Well if anybody would like to know... here`s an update from mckee.
I have decided that I`m going to try and grow my hair long. I`m currently trying to prove to my mom that I can handle long hair. This comes after she said next time i go to have a hair cut... it`s got to be short. But I`m hoping I can reverse her thinking so I can keep my hair long.

Mckee, Just wondered if you wound up cutting your hair and if so what style? I am thinking of cutting mine. If you have any pics, that would be cool...Email me Lauren A.

Good point Chris!! Hey Bobbbedguy dude whatever - not everybody wants to have a bob, they may be popular but ya know not everybody can handle it, i think you should add some variety to your posts.

I think you should go for a pretty and sexy one length bob with bangs. This style is fairly easy to care for and has wonderful movement, shape, and versatility. I actually have my hair cut in a slightly angled bob with bangs. The front starts out at about lip length and angles up slightly as you get to the back which is stacked out. I love it. Let us kow what you have done.
Has anyone else noticed that bobbedguy always says the same thing? :o)
Now, I like long hair, but do you hear me saying that everyone should have similar hair to me?

I`ve seen several actresses with something similar -- a bob off the collar, below the chin. Maura Tierney (who had it a little shorter than that) and Helen Hunt (who had it a little longer than that) from the early 90s come to mind, or a slightly longer version of Charisma Carpenter`s second, shorter cut this season. Or take Cameron Diaz, who has several good looking bobs. Tons of examples. But it still has to work with your head, of course! :)
Btw, I think Maura`s is semi-short again on ER, but I don`t watch ER.

Bob styles rang in length from just above the shoulders to about mid ear length. And bangs are not a must for a bob cut by any means. I have my hair cut i an angled bob that starts at about lip length in front and angles up slightly as you go to the back,. The back is also stacked for shape and fullness. I didn`t understand you last question though. Please rephrase it.

I`m not sure i wann go with bangs, i have a reallllllly tiny forhead and acne, and my friends say that their bangs hold in the sweat and cause more pimples... do you think a bob would actually be a good look considering i`ve planned to cut 3 inches above shoulder length??

Thanx for the insight, I`ve decided i`m almost 100% sure i`m going to cut it, i like the way my hair is now, just that its a pain in the @$$ sometimes. Especially with all the layering in it already.

Cut it! If you really want to do it, I would go ahead with it. It`s coming up on summer, just cut it now while you have the opportunity. It should grow back it time. Good Luck!!

I love the web site with the Olsen twins hair styles. My daughter is 10 and has beautiful, thick, fairly straight hair. It is the same length as the Olsens, but my girl has bangs. We are going to grow them out, but we needed some ideas how to pull it back during that tough growing out period. She fell in love with these styles when we pulled it up. Thanks!
As far as cutting your hair, I would suggest that you not do it. I think just cutting a little is a good idea, but not so much that it won`t be grown back in time. Frustration always brings the idea to cut and solve your problem, but it doesn`t always solve anything. Sometimes it just complicates the situation.
Good luck!

Why do you need shoulder length hair for March '02?? If your not sure about chopping (ALOT) off why don't you only cut about 4 inches off?? You could change your look but adding layers (or more if you have them), or going with one layer. You could always change your colour....etc.
That site Jen gave you is awesome! I do those styles on my friends and they look really awesome!
Hope this helped! Princess
Well I`ll need shoulder length by march `02 bcuz thats the start of competition season. and everybody`s hair has to be bun length or longer by then,
