Hey fellow LotR fan!
Yeah I admit LotR is a great long hair inspiration! When I had it longer last year, i did the whole putting it in "elf braids" meaning the herringbone braid with it half pulled up. I got pretty good at it, its not too complex. I know i know lame! Lol! But hey Im into it. Yeah your hair is looking middle-earthy right now actually! It looks kinda like Theoden's so far, and Eomer's too the way its light like that. Its nice!

Hair is: 1c (straight with body wave and one or two visible S-waves)/ MF(medium-fine)/ii (normal volume)

I am another lord of the Rings fan, this is what inspired me to grow my hair a second time, the first time was when I was 14 and just let it grow and it looked like crap, I eventually cut it to join a wrestling team at my middle school. My ideal hair would be aragorns when it is clean, I know my hair will never be as dark as his, im a light blondish-Brown, and in some pictures people mistake me for a red head. In the mirror though my hair looks dull, but in pictures it comes alive

Anybody else notice it. The camera is more forgiving of you, than a mirror is.

Hello!
I think it would take about say 2 years or so, thats about what it took last time, I had it cut this short before and grew it out (the last time) and yeah it took about 2 years or so.

Hello Eowyn/Laura, and welcome to the Long Hair Support board! Sorry to hear you recently went through a setback on the length front, but now you know you what you want, and I'm sure your hair will grow back nice and strong. When do you think it'll regain its prior length, about a year from now?

Hello!
I really like your messageboards that you have here, and I have been browzing them and have taken some of your advice on here. It is very good advice you give! I have stopped brushing my hair when its wet (cringes), I use fingers or a pick and am really gentle! I also got some clarifying shampoo and conditioner too from the suggestion of someone on here.

I used to have hair that was about mid-back length, and it is a light brown color with blonde highlights naturally. Never have dyed it. I got it cut to about chin length this past summer, and am attempting to grow it long again. Just gotta have time and patience! I admire you people with really beautiful long hair. It is not easy to keep I know, it requires being gentle to it, and takes time.

By the way, as for my name, I am a Lord of the Rings fan, so I chose a LotR name to use!
I look forward to posting and reading advice! :)
