I NEED A GUYS OPINION!!!!AND SOON!!!

Oh my Gosh!!!You just like so totally helped me!!!My hair is really thick...I asked my neighbor who is a pro-hair stylist.She said that spiral perms don`t usually look too good if you have thick hair....but she did say that getting an inch off would help my split ends a lot....and that going by the shape of my face that getting my hair layered would look really really cool!!!!Thanx so much!!!

Without knowing your preferences, facial shape, or hair texture/thickness, this is a really a hard question to answer. The one inch trim is a safe bet, if only to remove split ends and other damage. Suggesting layers can be a recipe for disaster depending upon your hair type and your sylist`s translation of the term. A spiral perm has its own pitfalls.

You need to actually talk to your stylist about looks that you like. Having sample pictures goes a long way to explaining what you have in mind.
