I HAD thick wavy hair also,(I CHANCED IT) but when I got it cut in to a bob, I also got it thinned out! Ever since I chopped over a foot off my hair I realized it doesn`t seem so thick anymore, and its not as wavy, it has actually went straight and it flips out at the bottom. I don`t know if you want to chop your hair or not, but if you really hate how thick your hair is get it thinned out! Also if you use a blowdrier, I recommend getting a defuser....they are not that much only about $10 (depending on the product) They all work the same so don`t think spending $20 on one will work better than a $6 one. Also using a gel that is made for curly/wavy hair will also help.
just so you know I`m not bull ******ting, I have given you my addy to my photo site
I hope I have helped in a LITTLE way!

If you`re thinking about getting short layers I really don`t recommend it since you said you have thick hair. I have thick hair too and I had my hair cut in short layers once and hated it. It was always fluffy no matter what I did. (I found out long layers work much better with thick hair) I do think your hair would look better all one length to your chin since it has a lot of volume. Hope I helped.
This is an awesome site! OK, I have thick hair with lots of volume. I want to get my hair cut around chin length, but I don`t know if I should get layers or not or just leave it 1 length. If I get layers, it won`t be as bushy, but will it be even more poofy? ps- my hair is wavy. Thanks for your help! luv ya, Starmoon
