I know exactly what you mean because I have long hair that I always wear in a pony tail. Do you want to cut it or are you just wanting different ways to wear it? Things I`ll do sometimes if I have the time are, topsy tail (its really fast actually), braiding sections on the sides and pulling it back, pulling just the hair on top back in a pony tail or braid, I can`t really explain a french twist but its not too hard and looks nice. I`m not very good at french braiding my own hair but I like the look. If I`m really feeling patient I`ll curl the ends or just a section in different ways. I hope this helps.
