Cut or Not To Cut

I agree with batman. (wow... wierd. batchick... batman...) anyway, i was having the same argument with myself, only it was between growing it out or hacking over 6 inches off. i cut it. if you do just below the shoulders and such, it won`t make too much difference, but if you get above the shoulder or chin, it`ll be more dramatic. with short hair, there`s fewer ponytail options, but with layers, you have a ton of styling options, which is a nice aspect. i myself plan to one day spike my hair and scare my mom, but that`s another story. go to a good stylist with the intent of at least a trim, look through books, find styles you like, and see if they`d reccomend anything

The difference between `below` and `just past` is very little; most people won`t even notice the difference until they see you from behind. If it`s convenience you`re after, you can`t go very wrong cutting your hair shorter.

However, if it`s a change of appearance you`re after, I think you should consider cutting it above your shoulders, maybe even past your chin. I think that`d look cute, but hey, I`m no expert...
