Tim, Check out my other post titled "WE DID IT" on a previous page. The last post was about 27th September if that is any help. I am going to go very short in the next couple of months or so so watch this space as I shall need advice for styles as until 6 weeks ago I had long hair all my life and now its going to be about an inch long!
Tim, Check out what happened on my other post titled " WE DID IT". It will be on page two or three at the moment, the last post was about September 27th. Even though I love my current style and it is the first time I have cut my hair, I`m going to go shorter before Christmas so I will keep you all informed. I feel that I should see what i look like in a pixie or something like that while I have the nerve. I can always grow back to my curent length.

Well, my hair is back to about an inch long. It was really fun and it looks good. It was wierd getting all the hair I grew back cut off, but I like it. How did everyone`s cut go, do you like it? Was it nervous? Well let us know.
Of the syles you picked I like #3826 best but i think it is cut similar to #3830 and mostly styled differently.
For Louise I love #3821. If i ever decide to go even shorter I think that is a great style.
For Jackie I like #5015 best.
I don`t think you need to go pixie short to feel like you have made a drastic change. Trust me, you will feel very different with any of the styles you picked. I`m still getting used to having short hair and still shocking people who have not seen me with short hair. I don`t think you want to make it a competition.
Yeah, tomarrow my hair which is just below my houlders is getting cut into a short pixie. A lot of people are cutting their hair tomarrow. Wannacut, don`t get scared its really fun and you will like having short hair. I`m gonna have one of my friends cut mine before the salon too cause that seems to be what everyone else is doin. Alright I`ll let you know how it goes.
I think you should go for a slightly layered cot above the shoulders but below your chin. Personally, i wouldn`t go to a pixie, but I went that shgort and like it.
it sounds from your stats that your two friends are a lot more daring than you are. They are both considering quite short styles, while none of the ones you mentioned were much below chin-length. Since you are making such a big deal out of this quasi-ceremonial haircutting event, why not fulfill your desires and get a real short cut. I`m not suggesting anything really outrageous like a buzzcut, but by showing your daring side and opting for something shorter than your pals, you can steal their thunder rather than them stealing yours. Otherwise, people will look at the three girls who chopped all their long hair off, and only really notice the two who dared to go really short. So if you want to get noticed, then shock your friends and yourself with a proper short cut. The chance to make such a drastic and exciting change doesn`t come along that often...
Hi i think u would absoulutly look fantasic in style : #5030 its a little short but would be a super drastic change!just like what u want! i just cut my Butt length chestnut brown hair in to a very short pixie{1-2 inches} dyed it blonde and got bright red streaks! i love it ! its sooo much lighter! and i love the wind on my neck well i hope i was some help please email me{angel_babe_656@bolt.com} and tell me what went down! if u want i can tell you the full story of mine! laterz Angel

Yourself: *definitely* the short one from the Bob Steele page - absolutely stunning cut, and that particular model has the same shaped face as the one in #4360 (like yours).
Louise: #3821 for sure, really gorgeous, especially for that face shape
Jackie: probably #5376

Perhaps you are right in saying that it will take years to grow back but i am ready for a change, a radical change. We all are and we are sitting here hardly able to wait. I think there will be a lot of hair coming off tomorrow night. Katie U, are you with us?. everyone please let us know which styles you like even from other sites, celebs etc. we are not going to the salon until late Saturday afternoon. See yah short hair lovers.
Cutting it all off only take minutes... if you want to grow it back, it will take years. Think about it twice before you cut your hair short. Why don`t you cut it below your shoulder?
Amybabe, We have been browsing the hair gallery on this site and come up with a few cuts that we like.
I am 5`9" tall and slim and if I do say so fairly good looking.My hair is like #4360, in fact I have a similar shaped face and figure to her. I like the following styles. #3826, #4662, #5451, #3785, #3830 ( i love this cut!) I also like the two models featured in the Bob Steele page. The girl with the short cut looks sensational. What do you think? Very short?
Louise has hair and face shape similar to model #4807. Louise is a real babe with a beautiful smile. All the guys chase her. She fancies #3821( my fave for her), #3928, #4290, #3794.
Jackie has hair like model #4751. She wants a chin length assymetric bob, cropped at the back. She also likes #5884, #3794, #5376 and #5015.
We all love a cut on Martin`s makeover page, Makeover #1. What a fantastic look but would it suit any of us.
We are meeting tonight to finalise our plans for the great chopping session tomorrow. Any suggestions from this site or other good sites. We are open to all ideas, including medium length. I am still not 100% certain I will cut it off. I don`t think I will be until my hair is in a pony with the scissors around it and I say OK
