Stabilize the base of the spikes. You'll want to work from the scalp, working up towards the ends of the hair. Make sure the base is well-gelled and hardened before you continue.

My hair is being odd...my hair is about 2 in a half-3 inches long I'm guessing and whenever I spike it with gel ( La Bella ), it keeps falling down and it turns out bad. How do I make it stay up?
