If you have natural curly hair then why straighten it, leave it natural, alot of girls pay top dollar to have curly hair. As for your thickness, if it`s to thick then you can ask a stylist to use thining shears on your hair. It will take the weight off and thin your hair without the layers everyone else is suggesting. Cutting your hair shorter just means you have less hair to straighten but it could take the same amount of time to style. You can look good with a chin lenghth bob and still have curly hair, like someone else said you can use antifrizz spray, and get a perm to enhance your natural curl. But the best thing to do is talk to a qualifed stylist about your concerns, she/he my have ideas that no one hear thought of. Good luck.

A big waste of your time is right. A layered chin length style would save you so much time, but keep in mind that because your hair will be shorter the curl will be somewhat enhanced. An anti-frizz product will help as far as keeping the frizz down. Good luck.

I think you should cut your hair to about your chin length and layer it. Just make sure that you`re hair is straightened and it `ll look great

I have really really thick hair, which is naturally curly/real wavy, about an inch past my shoulders.
I straighten it every day, which takes about 45 min to an hour! (a BIG waste of my day)

I want to cut it short (to about my chin length? more or less) I am worried about it sticking way out, or looking really bad...

any suggestions as to what would work best for me?
