My wife got her hair cut and had the same problem. I lifted the layer in question, pulled it straight out and cut into the layer, sort of making V`s into the hair. This released some of the weight and caused it to flip out. While you might not want to try this yourself, a friend might be able to or you could go back telling the hairdresser of the problem - should "fix" it for free or a small amount.
hia everybody i was wondering, i have gotten my hair cut into layers and im really unhappy because i can only get one side of my hair to flip out then the other side curls under. i think the reason it does this, is my hair is really thick. (i really don`t know) i have tried the air-brush, that round brush w/ the hair dryer, and i am afriad to use hair spray (it smells bad) so if any of you people out there can help it would be great!
