If the extensions you`re going to get only cost $12, then they are for sure fake hair. Fake hair extensions are a waste of money, unless you are just going to wear them for one night in an updo or something. If you want good looking extensions, they should cost at least $500. The most natural looking extensions that are braided in with your own and don`t do too much damage would probably cost around $3000 for you, since you have shorter hair, and would need to buy more of the extension hair. You need to have entensions tightened every month or so. They are also other types of extensions, like where they can glue the wefts of hair in with your own hair, but this does damage to your hair.
