I did the same thing a while back. It depends how long your hair is as to how long it will take to grow out. I kept it at my shoulders for about two and a half year until it was gone with the intention of growing it out once it was back to normal. You should really take care of your hair now, slap on that conditioner! and get REGUALR trims other wise your hair will become very delicate and break quite easily.

Hi Chris,
no, your hair is not permanetly changed to a orange colour. Once the artificial colour has completely grown out (that depends on your hairlength/style and the frequency of cuts) it`s gone.

I would suggest to not colour it in the meantime, since results will be unpredicatable. You need to be patient and let it grow out.

There is not only black and white, there is also grey

About a month and a half ago, I dyed my brown hair blond. But I didn`t like it so I tried to dye it back brown. It took the stylist two attempts to get it right. Anyways, I have gotten 3 haircuts since this time but my hair still look orange in the light. I am just wondering if I have permanetely damaged my hair to the point were it is always going to look orange, or is my natural hair ever going to come back???
