Hi, I recently tried MD Go Straight Marc Daniels It doesn`t make your hair straight but it reallygives you shine (providing you dont use too much otherwise it will go greasy) and smells like coconuts. Only use a SMALL amount.

right, okay. I`ve never brought the stuff but it seemed like an obvious choice. Loads of people have been complaining about the Pantene range because it leaves a waxy coat on your hair or something.......i guess thats because of the silicones. Don`t try that `Frizz Ease` serum because it`s greasy and doesn`t really work. Charles Worthington does a good one, and another good one I think is by Trevor Sorbie, I`m not sure. I`ll check. O yeah, and you can get hair serums from wherever you normally buy your styling products.

Thanks for your reply, but panteen has a lot of silicone derivatives in their products (dimethicone, cyclomethicone, simethicone, trimethicone) also I am allergic to the last couple of ingredients listed on the bottles ( the really long words that start with M).
You mentioned a hair serum. Do you have any suggestions on which brand to try or where I can purchase a hair serum? Thank you for your time.

I dunno about the silicones thing, but have you tried the Pantene Pro V range for the shiny/sleek hair? Make sure you use the conditioner. If you wanna get it shiny when you wash, a cold water rinse after conditioner really works, (but it`s best if you put your head over the side of the bath and do it with a shower attachment, otherwise if you are in the shower your whole body gets the shock!) For styling product shine, use serum coz it coats the hair to make it reflect the light. If you have healthy hair resulting from a good diet, your hair will look shiny too. :|

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what conditioners or other hair products I could use to achieve a super glossy hair look. Preferrably ones that do not contain silicones. They just dry my hair out. Thanks :)
