Hi. I am also a ballet dancer. On wednesday i got my waist length hair cut to shoulder length with a few long layers. I really like it and it looks good but it is much harder to put up in a bun and it falls down easily, I don`t know if that is because of the layers or length but it is annoying. By the way, if you are from America this won`t mean much to you but yesterday I went on a backstage tour of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and it was excellent but to make it even better, we saw Darcey Bussell and her partner in a studio rehersing for Romeo and Juliet. We stood watching for about 10 minutes and it was amazing!!!

Ummm...ur a dancer right?i take ballet and i have the exact cut u want and i actually wanna grow it back out again...and mine`s wavy too....i have layers at the ends to keep mine cute but if u didnt want layers just straighten it when u wanna wear it down. but it`s up to u and dont get me wrong it is adorable shoulder length! but it CAN fall down easily when u r dancing but ont very often..o and about the damage..it`s prob just fried so go out and buy "Hydrology" by TRESemme it`s a black bottle with a blue drop on it and it`s a moistureizer, whichshould fix it right up!hehe o and DONT make the mistake of buying conditioner!conditioner makes ur hair softer only by adding layers on your hair which will eventually make it thicker.u want a moisterizer!k?well there ya go!now it`s up to u!hope it helped!cuz in loove talkin about hair, maekup and clothes and all that junk..lol..well chow!

Hi, I`m thinking about cutting my wavy thick mid-back/waist length hair to were the ends just barely touch the shoulders one length. My hair has some damage to it.

Do you think I would need long layers to aviod the
pyramid head look or would all one length work?
Go for it change is good. :)
