I suggest that you get a "reverse frost" or "lowlights", rather than going back to a solid brown color. Go to a professional hairstylist to have this done. It will involve either pulling your hair thru the cap or foiling (like a hilite is done), and applying a shade that is one shade lighter than your natural color. This way, the change is not TOO drastic, you will town down that blonde, and it is a great way to transition back to the natural color, as you will still have some blonde "hilites". Let me know how this works for you, if you try it. :)
Alrighty, I`ve been highlighting my hair since I was 12. I`m now 15, and I`m kinda getting sick of seeing so many girls w/ highlighted hair (no offense to those who highlight!!!) and so I`m kinda thinking about coloring my hair back to its natural color which is somewhere inbetween chesnut and dark brown. Its not very dark though. With highlights, my hair is somewhat honey colored with lighter streaks in it. I dont know which to do, because highlighting can be very very expensive ($50 every 2 months- I have to pay for it too)... but Im very fair skinned (Its nearly impossible for me to tan) and I`m worried that the darker hair would wash me out even more.
What are yall`s comments or opinions on what I should do?
Also... has anybody here tried Ogilvie 7 day curls? I`d love to try that, but Ive heard some horror stories about how the curl still hadnt come out even after 3 months.
