hey .. plz help me. i am a guy and i really need help. coz i`ve had my hair in cornrows .. for 3 years .. i got em shaved off last yr and my hairs finally grown to a decent length for anythin to be done to. wad should i do and how do i do it. i dun noe coz my hair has been in cornrows all this while.. can u give a few options. i haf hair pretty short at the back and touching my eye brows in front. thanks plz email me or somethin

You sound a little bit like me.....I am also 16 and most people think that I am 12 or 13.....first let me ask you a question about your hair......what texture is it? If your hair is curly, there is a lot that you can do to make yourself look older. If your hair is naturally straight, there`s still a lot that you can do. What I normally do when I wanna look older is this: (my hair is also chin length) I either wear my hair down, and curly or I put some twisted corn rows in it with the rest down. There are certain hairstyles that will make you look a lot younger, so steer clear of those unless that`s the look you want. Some examples would be, pigtails, ponytails, braids of any kind, and any other styles that you would normally see on younger kids. Some girls can pull those styles off, but only because they look older than they are. However, when you are trying to look older, try not to look like you are trying to look older. That is the mistake of many people.

It seems like you know a bit about hair-- maybe you can help me. I love to dress uniquely--I never wear jeans..and people always think I`m like 12 when I`m really 16. I can`t find a hairstyle that is right for me. My hair was pretty short, but I decided to grow it out because I didn`t like the look. It`s about chin length now. Friends tell me that short hairstyles look better for people who want to look older, but it just didn`t work for me. Do you know of any miracle hairstyles to help my situation?

Ok, my hair is sorta thin and is kind of an unruley straight when it wants to be, all other times its unruley and bumpy. i found a good straightning iron but can i give me a 2nd opinion before i buy it or recommend another?

Hi! I have strait dark brown hair just past my chin. It`s about medium texture. I`ve been debating on whether to grow it out or what. It seems like every time it gets to about my shoulders I cut it back up to chin length. My face shape is round. What do you think I should do? Does anyone have any good pics of hairstyles that I should try or grow my hair out to try?
