EVER LET A FRIEND CUT HAIR?

In late january , I got drunk with my boy friend, and I went to sit in the bath room, and he wanted to cut my hair, so I freaked out at first but then let him, I put my hair in a pony tail. And wack! He cut my long blonde hair chin len-, a few nights latter, I wanted him to even it out, and it ended up being cut more 2 in, shorter, and the next morn I went to my stylest and she evened it out for me. That was 6 months ago, my hair still hasnt recovered/ its almost to my sholders. But all in all, it was a good thing/ I got rid of split ends, lol

Not a friend, but I have cut my own hair several times. Actually, I have always had fairly long hair and hate short hair, but about 3 years ago my hair was getting pretty long and I didn`t trust anyone to cut it, usually because it ended up too short and I wouldn`t like it. So I cut it myself with clippers. So I start cutting, mainly trimming, and I kept going and ended up clippering the back and about two hours later ended up with a cut where it was less than an inch all over. It was cool to have a new style but I grew my hair out again within a year and no longer even trust myself with my hair, probably why it is so long now.

i have cut my mom`s, sis, bro`s, aunt`s, cuzzin`s hair.
actually, juz 2 days ago, i cut my fren`s hair. she told me tt she wanted a cut so i convinced her tt i can cut her since since i took hairdressing courses early this yr. and i only charge her $5. tt is considered cheap enuf. so, tt evening, i went to her house and told me the style she wanted. she had shoulder-length hair and wanted a diff style. i made a MISTAKE and cut a layered bob
for her. It turned out to be nice (self-compliment...hehe). My fren was also quite picky so every now and then she`ll tell me this and that...I`m glad tt she`s happy wif the hairstyle and then, her mom popped into the room....and wanted a trim! Since her hair was short, the whole process was quite a breeze..In the end, I earned $10. :) Now i`m thinking to cut my own hair but dun haf the courage to do so...i think i`ll still visit my favourite hairdressing salon...

by the way, i`m a girl (hehe), 17 and from singapore. i`m still in college and it`s the school holidays now!! ooooh...i hope my info here is sufficient enuf to help ur fren..good luck in writing the article!

When I was younger I would cut my own hair and some of my friends. Now I cut my wife`s and she cuts mine. I would cut my own because I had a "bad" experience when I was very little with a barber and never felt comfortable since then. When I told my friends that I did my own hair they wanted me to do theirs. I don`t know why - I think it was mainly a way to save money and was more convenient.

I remember when I was a sophmore in highschool, which had to be around 1997, so I was 15 yrs old, I had my mom cut my long thick hair to the middle of my back a little below the bra line since, I was tired of it being long. After a while I wanted it even shorter, so instead of hassling my mom to cut it for me again and being to cheap to go to a salon, I chose to cut my hair myself. I grabbed all myhair pulled it to the side, grabbed the scissors and snipped 3-4 inches off. What a mistake! it was so uneven that it looked like a staircase. On my right side my hair was above my bra line and got shorter and shorter the shortest being slightly below my shoulders on my left side. I panicked when I saw my hair because the next day I had to go to a graduation party for my cousin. I didn`t want to go to her party with crooked hair. I told my mom what happened and asked her if she could even it out for me; she refused to do it, so I had to go to my cousin`s party with crooked hair. Since then I have never cut my own hair, only when I have to trim the ends.
