It might be the way you brush or comb your hair. That would explain why it's the back and sides that get broken hairs... brushing should come after combing, and combing should not rip through tangles. The crown of the head is often missed during combing/brushing. The other possibility is a rough pillow... since, again, only the back and sides of the head are exposed to it.

Well, that's odd. I'd just pay more attention to where my hair is, make sure it doesn't get caught and broken under shoulderbag straps and things like that...and if you aren't doing anything to break it there's not much else you can do about it.

No i dont use any clips or so in my hair i just let it hang down!

And i got highlights on top of my hair so it should be more damage there...but still thats the part that grows to much faster???

Can it be that the hair on the sides and at the back rubbs against ´my clothes???

I use redkens shampoo and their conitioner all soft and i never blowdry or use any spray or stuff like that!!
I do take very good care of it.....just dont understand how it can be like this...

That sounds unusual...what is your hair routine?
How do you wear your hair? How long is it? Any chance the underlayers are getting damaged by something you do, or a hairclip you wear?

hi all

I have grown out my hair now for a year and have noticed that the hair on top of my head grows much faster than on the sides and at the back??

Is this because my hair on the sides and at the back breaks off??

the hair on top of my head have grown 11 cm in 1 year and i had it trimmed 3 times but the rest of the hair have only grown around 7 cm.

Should I use an antisnap treatment??

Would really like to know......
