If you get your hair cut by a professional who knows how to use a razor, there is nothing wrong with it. They even make a special conditioner to apply to the hair before it is razored. The real draw back is you need time to style your hair because if you are a wash and go type of person, the razored look won`t look right.
Razoring slices hair. It rips the ends so they will split. A razor cut is designed to damage your hair. Stylists do it so you will have to come back and get the damage fixed. NEVER let them use a razor on your hair. As always be very specific with what you want before the cutting starts. Tell them right up front you DO NOT want your hair razored. I have decided grow mine out and have stopped going to a salon. Why? because when I told them I wanted to grow it out, they got so rude and told me that was a childish thing to do and I would be better off listening to their advice and cutting it shorter. They are so arrogant and do not listen to girls who want other than what THEY want to give them. Right now my hair is nearly to the top of the cups of my bra in front. It has been about 4 months and I could use my ends trimmed.I think I`ll ask my boyfriend to do it for me so I won`t have to give money to those arrogant oafs. Does anyone have any advice or links to show how to trim long hair at home? My boyfriend is really sweet and he would listen and follow instructions.
I had my hair cut with a razor about a year and a half ago. Trust me, there were no benefits. After the cut I had so many split ends I had to go back and get my hair cut again (straight across with scissors of course) just to get rid of the damaged ends. The stylist who razored my hair said basically razoring is supposed to make your hair thinner and `fall better` or something. Personally I would not recommend a razor haircut.
But that was just my experience, maybe yours would turn out better.
Any one with "real" knowledge can jump in and correct me but I think the razor is said to give a less rigid line to the choppy style that are so popular right now.
I went back to school and I saw all of my friends have there haircuts razored. Can someone tell me what the benefits are as opposed to scissors. And how do they razor? I am so confused but it really looks gorgeous!
