my hair is fuzzy and wavey plz help

do you know what I found helped my friend? she has very curly hair (I don`t know if that is what the problem is), so what she does, which helps her alot is that she uses curl shampoos, for examples, CurlVive. It works wonders on curly hair. Her hair looks very pretty now. Always use wide toothed combs, not brushes on curly hair, that will cause frizz or fuzz, as you would say and use only a little of hair styling products because too much can make curls look weighed down.
