So it would be kinda high maintenance to maintain that style (since i dont have asian hair)? See...i already have a flat iron and i've tried it. It doesn't help much. The ends of my hair naturally curve inward.

Knowing asian hair, it appears to me you will need to have the ends razored into layers. To style, a flat iron is a must. If you don't have luck with the flat iron, you made need to consider Thermal Straightning. Traditional chemical relaxers will not work on your type of hair.
I think it will look great.
I am a professional Hairstylist/Haircolorist with 19 years experience. I have traveled all over the country for my advanced education. I am also a salon owner.:)........and I LOVE Redken!!!
I'm going to get my hair cut in a different style, and I have a specific look in mind. (it's low-maintenance)But I'm not sure if it only works on certain types of hair. (and is still low-maintanence) I see a lot of asian women/girls who have this hairstyle, but I'm not sure if it would come out looking the same on me.
