Hair past the waist will solve a lot of these problems... because waist-and-longer hair means

(1) quitting all heat tools (especially blow drying) so it will save you time.
(2) damp buns for big spiral curls as a style possibility
(3) more length for various braiding, e.g. four strand, dutch, French, etc.. and you can do more with your hair. No more "hair gone blah"

Just some stuff for Brunette and Amber to consider. Yeah, yeah, I know I keep telling people they should grow out their hair... but I'm actually vouching for waist and longer, which is something not often seen nowadays. It'll make you different.

Hope this helps

My hair is the same way! See I'm gonna get mine cut about 1-2 inches off to even it out and get rid ot split ends and then I'm gonna layer it a little bit to make it feel and appear lighter and less thick! Hope this helps you!

Brunette, your hair is GORGEOUS and I totally envy your waves. I don't think you should change your hair one bit. Except to grow it out, of course.

Hmm... time to visit the eye doc, there.

Anyway, Brunette OTV, how about trying different styles? Funky braids, multiple buns, and hairclips in a variety of positions on the top of your head... the possibilities are endless.

When my hair was waist-length and I used a blow-dryer, it took about 30 minutes. I can't imagine it taking longer than that to dry hair. Nowadays I let it dry on its own; it takes many hours if the air is dry (much longer if I braid it).

If the hair is blah you should change it.
How about bringing it up about 6 inches and adding long layers in it.

- it is REALLY thick ( it takes me 25 minutes to blow dry it) that's thick? my hair takes 1 and 1/2 hours to blow dry. It used to take 2 but I've gotten better at it.

maybe you could dye it?

Ok i would really appreciate on help with this. My hair has gone sorta blah and i want to do something fun with it, but still keep my length.
ok so here are the stats.
- color: light/medium brown with a red tint
- length: about boob level ( a good foot and a half below my shoulders) and have a fringe that falls about 2 to 3 inches below the eye
- it is REALLY thick ( it takes me 25 minutes to blow dry it)
- it is naturally wavy in the back and straight in the front (weird i know) but i straighten it most days
- i have a round face
ok so if anyone had something out there that would maybe take some thickness out of it and give me a style that i could get up and go with and on the days i have time, would be able to fuss around with, that would be great. as i said above, i really would like to keep the length. Ok well thank you for your thoughts and time!!
